もうご存知かもしれませんが、リンク切れになっていたtokyo dawn recordsが帰ってくるらしい。

tokyoと書いてあるけども、ドイツのレーベル。
ネットレーベルという存在を知ったのがごく最近なので、まだ名前しかしらないのです。

ニューリリースのところの一番上に"4th Disciple&Hell Razah(Wu Tang Clan)"と書いてある。
ヒップホップにさほどくわしくはないのだけども、Wu Tang Clanと言われるとかなり気になってしまうではないか。

だから調べてみた。

まず4th Discipleはウータンクランの２ndアルバムの制作に関わって名前をあげたプロデューサー。KILLARMYやSUNZ OF MANが主な参加グループ。ＧＺＡとキラー・プリーストの曲”BIBLE”のプロデュースでも知られている。
そしてHell Razahはキラー・プリーストとともにSUNZ OF MANのＭＣをつとめている。

SUNZ OF MANの曲は、人の死や罪など宗教・精神性のつよいダークなものが多いのだそうです。アマゾンで試聴できます。

聴いてみたけど、んんーウータンクランだなー、という感じでした。


これがネットレーベルtokyo dawn recordsのリニューアル第１弾の２枚組みコンピレーションに本当に参加するのであれば、なかなかおもしろいことになりそうだ！
